]]> While eyes are on Tiger Woods’ return to PGA Tour action at Riviera, there’s another golf throwback on the schedule as well. For the first time since 2016, the DP World Tour will return to Thailand for the Thailand Classic at Amata Spring Country Club in Bangkok. Players will be greeted by lush greenery, spicy food, and an island green that makes TPC Sawgrass’ iconic 17th hole look like a relaxing tropical vacation. Check it out.

No, your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you. Players will need to literally be ferried to the green, which also happens to be the course’s 17th in a nice homage to the home of next month’s Players Championship. How that impacts pace of play remains to be seen, but it certainly makes for a great spectacle, especially against the backdrop of the nearby temples.
