Chances are you’ve played Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club’s picturesque par 4 17^th and 18^th holes into the prevailing wind at some time and have a few scorecard blobs to prove it.

When the sea breeze rolls in off the Creek, there are few tougher closing stretches in the UAE, particularly the 18^th where the front of the green is protected my yet more water.

The good news is, with a few simple changes to your setup, an extra club or two and an easy swing, you can avoid those ballooning shots that end up wet.
