Sculpted from the remains of an old tin mine and seemingly enveloped in lush jungle vegetation, Red Mountain Golf Club is a delight to the golfing senses. Designed by Jon Morrow and Al Tikkanen, the 6,781 yard, par-72 layout has been a beacon for golf holidaymakers to the Kingdom of Thailand since its opening in 2007. A strategic challenge enhanced by numerous risk and reward opportunities including drivable par 4s, Red Mountain cleverly exploits the dramatic land forms and elevation changes remnant of the tin mine. Few holes in this stimulating test disappoint and certainly not the signature par-3 9th with a 50m drop from tee to green. A must play.
