Want to get noticed for a golf trick shot? Apparently, the new trend is coming up with creative ways to knock a golf ball into the hole without using a golf club. Within days of trick-shot artist Coach Rusty knocking in a putt using the wheel of a golf cart, we came across this submission involving a golf towel from Garrett Clark and Micah Morris. Check it out:

At least the two admit that this trick shot “took a really long time” to pull off. Still, it’s pretty remarkable — both in the execution and the conception of it. Seriously, how did they even think of this? And what’s next?! A holed shot using a golf pencil?

Actually, check back next week, because someone will probably have figured out how to do that, too.

We’ve reached the point in golf trick shot evolution that golf trick shots are no longer actual golf shots. It seems that using a golf club to pull off a jaw-dropping shot is becoming too easy, at least for Ryan Rustand, aka Coach Rusty. So for his latest trick, Coach Rusty used a golf cart to hole a shot.

That’s right, a golf cart. Check it out:

And before everyone gets up and arms about some President Trump-esque reckless golf cart driving, Coach Rusty points out in the caption (and in the comments) that this wasn’t done on the course itself. In any event, Coach Rusty is quite the creative trick shot artist — and he’d make one heckuva driver’s ed instructor.

If you’ve been struggling with the driver these holidays, then we suggest you avert your eyes now. The following will do nothing to ease your tee ball anxiety. Whatsoever.

Ryan Rustand is a golf coach from Maryland in the United States although we wonder where he finds the time for lessons given the twists he’s been putting on every day, garden variety trick shots.

Rustand is the southpaw doing the hitting, not the flying, in this latest ditty.
