PGA TOUR Champions returned to Northern Africa for the fourth consecutive year for the 50th Trophée Hassan II in Rabat, Morocco, the 10th event of the 2026 season.

Royal Golf Dar Es Salam’s Red Course, a par-73, 7,329-yard layout, played host to the 54-hole event, which ran Thursday to Saturday with a prize fund of $2,500,000 on offer and a winner’s share of $400,000.

The 66-player field featured four members of the World Golf Hall of Fame: Vijay Singh (1991), Colin Montgomerie (1997), Ernie Els (2008) and José María Olazábal (2009). Singh, Montgomerie and Els were all past Trophy Hassan II champions in the field and part of the DNA of this tournament, connecting five decades of championship golf in Morocco.

Defending champion Miguel Ángel Jiménez returned seeking to become the first back-to-back champion in the PGA TOUR Champions era of this event, and only the third player in the tournament’s 50-year history to win in consecutive years (Payne Stewart, 1992-93; Santiago Luna, 2002-03).

The Trophée Hassan II was a joint event, with the Ladies European Tour (LET) competing in the 29th Lalla Meryem Cup on the Blue Course at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam.

Australia’s Scott Hend captured his maiden PGA TOUR Champions title with a composed final-round 69 to win the 50th edition of the Trophée Hassan II in Morocco by one stroke at 15-under-par.
