Armed with gloves and bin bags, staff from the DP World Tour’s Middle East office joined colleagues from Dubai Creek Resort last week for their quarterly clean-up initiative in support of Clean Up Our World.

With Dubai Creek Resort preparing to welcome defending champion Tommy Fleetwood alongside global stars Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry and Francesco Molinari for the second edition of the Dubai Invitational this week, the dedicated team rolled up their sleeves to ensure the venue’s natural surroundings match the world-class golf on display.
Spanning the picturesque shoreline between the Floating Bridge and Garhoud Bridge, volunteers worked together to enhance the beauty of the iconic waterway, transforming sections of Dubai Creek while building on the momentum of previous quarterly clean-ups.
This initiative aligns perfectly with Golf for Good, the DP World Tour’s commitment to environmental and social sustainability, ensuring the Tour has a positive long-term impact on the courses, countries and communities it visits.
The Dubai Invitational is the opening event on the Race to Dubai’s International Swing and is played concurrently with a three-day Pro-Am team event, with Sunday featuring professionals only. The bi-annual event consists of 60 professional DP World Tour golfers and 60 amateur golfers.
