Some of sport’s most recognisable names will tee it up at The Els Club, Dubai from March 25 to 28, 2026, as the $1 million inaugural Stars Golf League stages a four-day team competition featuring legendary golfers, leading women professionals and global celebrities.

Headlined by Major champions and Ryder Cup stalwarts including Ernie Els, Thomas Bjørn and Colin Montgomerie, the League will see 24 celebrated male professionals joined by six leading women professionals and six international celebrity golfers competing for a $1 million prize purse.

With the players split into six teams, each team will count the best five scores from six players per round, across all four days.
In addition to the $1 million professional purse, team owners will compete for separate payouts, with $300,000 awarded for first place, $200,000 for second and $100,000 for third.

Among the confirmed golfing greats are Anirban Lahiri, Paul Lawrie, Michael Campbell, Peter Baker, Scott Hend, Thomas Bjørn, Ernie Els, Colin Montgomerie and Jeev Milkha Singh.
The professional women’s field features Diksha Dagar, Tvesa Malik, Florentyna Parker, Alexandra Swayne, Sára Kousková and Stacy Bregman, adding international depth and competitive balance to the event.

The celebrity lineup includes former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, former South African cricketers JP Duminy and AB de Villiers, Dutch football legend Ruud Gullit, and former Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke.
The field will also include prominent amateur figures such as Kapil Dev, President of the Professional Golf Tour of India, and Stars Golf League co-founder Mahesh Bhupathi.
