On Sunday 26 April 2026, Emirates Golf Club hosted 10 talented juniors for its Junior Club Championship on the Majlis course. With last year’s champions returning to defend their titles, the day delivered plenty of energy, sportsmanship, and competitive play from start to finish.
In the Girls’ Division, defending champion Lara Bakhour successfully retained her title after a play-off, posting a gross 80 (+8).
Lara produced a composed scorecard that included three pars and a birdie on the fourth hole, before putting together a strong closing stretch on the back nine with six steady pars to finish her round.
The Boys’ Division title was claimed by another defending champion, Neil Nair, who returned a gross 74 (+2). He opened with back-to-back pars before a bogey on the third hole, then responded in style with birdies on the fourth and sixth, complemented by a series of pars to reach the turn.
On the back nine, he remained steady with five pars and added a birdie on the thirteenth to secure the win.
The Best Net honours went to Adam Sebti, who signed for an excellent net 71 (-1). He set the tone on the front nine with seven net pars, adding a net birdie on the second hole.
He maintained his momentum after the turn, recording four more net pars and three net birdies on the tenth, thirteenth, and sixteenth to close out a standout round.
